Audio-Visual Expertise ...
I became involved with audio-visual production back in the 80s, thanks to a good friend who encouraged me to develop my skills in the various fields of this work. These included specialist production services for corporate launches, fashion shows, beauty pageants, car launches and exhibitions.
My first experience with web design came in the late 90s with that dreadful programme Microsoft Frontpage Express. A friend used to joke, ”Why use just one piece of code for that when you can use 20?” It was funny, but that was Frontpage down to a tee. I soon started to edit the code myself and I now have a good deal of experience handling various programming languages. Even back in the early 80s I was experimenting with ZX Basic and I wrote my own fully working version of the TV quiz Countdown. I built my first corporate website for an insurance company in Bolton back in 2005.
The period from 1999 to 2010 gave me my big break, when I became a producer for the Music Factory Entertainmemnt Group in Rotherham, home to Jive Bunny, Tidy Trax and Pure Energy Fitness, to mention but a few. I produced more than 600 remixes for them, plus 40 albums, all of which were released on CD! I also did some work for their Jive Bunny brand, producing extended remixes of their number 1 singles. So I am officially a former member of Jive Bunny & The Mastermixers, who are still selling their albums today. Come the mid-noughties, I was asked to produce remixes for JK and Joel on Virgin Radio (Now Absolute Radio) and I also did some work in the Oxford Street studios of ITV’s Britain's Got Talent, creating a backing track for The Chippendoubles, a comedy lookalike act who reached the show’s semi-finals in 2012.
In 2011 and 2012, I did a small amount of work in the Oxford Street studios of ITV’s Britain's Got Talent, editing a backing track I had produced for The Chippendoubles, a comedy lookalike act who reached the semi-finals in 2012.
So, bringing you up to speed today, what is "John Faulkner Audio Visual" about? It came about by accident and only a couple of years ago. I was asked to provide a jingle package for a DJ I know. It suddenly occurred to me that I ought to market such jingles and various other audio production services on the internet, and so John Faulkner Audio Visual was born. I was lucky enough to secure a small grant to develop my business and bring all my skill together in under one banner. Today, I now combine these to produce a complete audio-visual package to suit just about all your needs.
Recently, my web design services have encompassed a variety of business needs, including entertainment, cosmetics, radio, hotels and leisure, clubs and societies, and of course insurance. I have produced narration, commercials and jingle packages for many British local radio stations, including Felixstowe Radio, Mearns FM (Stonehaven), The Eye (Melton Mowbray), Angel Radio (Hampshire), Phoenix FM (Calderdale), Zack FM (Mildenhall), Cannock Chase FM (West Midlands) and Kennet Radio (Newbury) plus many other individual productions for DJs and companies worldwide, the furthest of which being Saint FM on the island of St. Helena.
So do get in touch at any time if you would like a friendly, no-obligations chat about what I can do do to help you. I am always happy to be of service.
